Faucet Types We Work On
Every type of faucet — repaired or replaced
Not all faucets are the same. Here's a breakdown of the types we service every day in Salt Lake City homes — and what we can do for each one.

Standard, Widespread & Shower Valve Faucets
We work on every type — from basic kitchen faucets to custom shower valve replacements.
Standard Single-Handle Faucets
The most popular faucet in kitchens and bathrooms. One handle controls both temperature and flow. Simple to use, easy to replace, and available in every style and finish.
Where you'll find them
- Kitchen sinks
- Bathroom vanities
- Utility sinks
What we do
- Replacement with new faucet
- Cartridge & valve repair
- Leak repair at base or handle
- Upgrade to a newer style/finish
Widespread Faucets
A widespread faucet has two separate handles and a spout — each mounted independently with 6–16 inches of spread. Common in master bathrooms and higher-end vanities. They look great but have more connections to maintain.
Where you'll find them
- Master bathroom vanities
- Double-sink setups
- Upgraded bathrooms
What we do
- Full widespread faucet replacement
- Individual handle or cartridge repair
- Leak repair at connections
- Matching finish upgrades
Shower Valves & Trims
The shower valve is the mixing valve behind the wall that controls water temperature and flow. The trim is the visible handle, plate, and showerhead you see. When your shower won't mix right, runs hot/cold, or the handle is hard to turn — it's usually the valve or cartridge.
Where you'll find them
- Shower/tub combos
- Walk-in showers
- Custom tile showers
What we do
- Valve cartridge replacement
- Full valve body replacement
- Trim kit upgrade (handle, plate, showerhead)
- Pressure balancing valve install
Toilets & Bidets
Toilet replacement, repair & bidet installation
Whether your toilet is running, leaking, or you're ready to upgrade to a bidet — we've got you covered. Here's the difference between your options.

Standard Toilets vs. Bidet Toilets
We install both — from basic replacements to full bidet toilet upgrades.
Standard Toilets
The classic two-piece or one-piece toilet found in most homes. We replace old, inefficient toilets with modern low-flow models that flush better and use less water. If yours is running, leaking at the base, or rocking — it's time.
What we do
- Full toilet replacement
- Wax ring & flange repair
- Fill valve & flapper replacement
- Running toilet diagnosis & fix
Bidet Seats & Bidet Toilets
Bidet seats attach to your existing toilet and add a warm water wash, heated seat, and air dry. Bidet toilets are all-in-one units with the bidet built in. Both need a water supply connection and often a nearby electrical outlet — we handle the plumbing side.
What we do
- Bidet seat installation on existing toilet
- All-in-one bidet toilet installation
- Water supply line connection
- Shut-off valve upgrade if needed

Questions
Faucet, toilet & fixture FAQs
Common questions homeowners ask about faucet, toilet, and shower fixture work.
It depends on the faucet type and what's involved. A simple single-handle kitchen or bathroom faucet swap is straightforward. Widespread faucets take a bit more work because of the extra connections. We'll give you an upfront quote before starting — no surprises.
A regular (centerset) faucet has the handles and spout on one base plate — usually with 4 inches between the handles. A widespread faucet has three separate pieces: two handles and a spout, each mounted independently with 6–16 inches of spread. Widespread faucets are more common in master bathrooms and higher-end vanities.
Sometimes, yes — if the valve body behind the wall is in good shape and compatible with the new trim kit. We'll inspect the valve first and let you know. If the valve cartridge is worn or the valve body is outdated, we'll recommend replacing both for a reliable fix.
Yes — bidet seats are designed to fit on most standard toilets. We'll connect the water supply line and make sure everything is leak-free. If you need a shut-off valve upgrade or a nearby outlet for an electric bidet seat, we'll handle that too.
If it's just a running toilet (fill valve, flapper, or handle), that's usually a repair. If the toilet is cracked, leaking at the base, rocking on the floor, or constantly giving you problems — replacement is usually the smarter move. We'll tell you honestly which makes more sense.
Hose bib replacements — the outdoor faucets. They freeze and crack over winter, then start leaking when you turn them on in spring/summer. Quick fix, and we keep the parts on hand.
Yes. If the valve is behind tile, we can access it through an access panel or, if needed, cut a small opening to reach the valve. We'll explain the process before we start and make sure the repair is done clean and code-compliant.
